Default What Brand Coolant?

I have a 2009 Jaguar XF non supercharged V8

I need to top off the coolant and the manual states it needs to be orange and say WSS M97B44 on the bottle. I went on to the Advanced Auto Parts website and can't find an orange coolant that has that spec. Which brand/product do you guys recommend?

Prestone Dex-Cool meets the Jaguar spec, (which seems to be a Ford spec ??? : WSS M97B44). Having said that , and you probably already know this etc but the supercharged XF uses the same coolant, the website you mentioned will let you enter the supercharged version of your car and comes up with a list of options they consider suitable.

The concern I have is whether I go to Advanced Auto Parts website or AutoZone and I type in my year, make and model, there are about 6 products that pop up and none of them are the Prestone Dex-Cool. They're all Pink colored liquid and 1 is a universal coolant from Prestone. When I look up the Dex-Cool separately it states that it's good for Fords year 2011 and up. Mines a 2009.

This one is fine. You can find it at Walmart.

I used this Havoline Xtended life orange dex-cool coolant

Havoline Xtended Life Antifreeze/Coolant Pre-mix 50/50- 1 Gallon
Amazon Amazon

On Amazon. And lots of people with LR / RR vehicles using it too

But - would also ensure you know why it leaks coolant. Mine hasn't leaked a drop between services in 10 years except when I had a crack and slow leak in a cooling pipe last year.

Ford spec, but you don't have a Ford AFAIK ?
All joking aside ,for ALL fluids - engine oil, brake fluid , coolant etc...... it is the specification that you are aiming to comply with. Coloring is added to coolants etc to help idiot-proof adding the wrong one, compatability on the bottle itself is supposed to help decide if suitable but depends on who wrote the label. The correct coolant for your Jag is ethylene glycol ( or it is sometimes called monoethylene glycol , same thing) plus OAT anticorrosive agents.

The Advance Auto Parts stores in my area, carry the supposedly correct, Pentosin brand coolant (Pentofrost SF). It's not "pre-mixed", so you need to purchase some distilled water, to mix it with......

Don't worry about what brand or color it is. Focus on the specification.
Any brand Dex-Cool will work fine.
