Default 2014-15 XJR Exhaust Finishers

Does anyone know the part number for these quad exhaust finishers? I couldn't find them online.

Here you go...

But, the XJR has different central exhaust and rear mufflers which are unique to the XJR. I don't know if the XJR finishers will fit on the standard rear pipes...

Default Ouch!

These exhaust tips are ridiculously expensive! List for $347.46 each!

See: 2013 Jaguar XJ Parts - Direct JPLV Porsche Parts.com

Only $282.23 +S&H, each. What a deal! I'll vote for Hillary before I buy these.

Indeed, even looking at some chrome bumper parts the other day - around 300 for both sides, its insane considering its just a bit of customised plastic but they know its very custom for this shape so overcharge. They make most of these parts for pennies.

Just found these from Spires in the U.K. Interesting design to fit without modifying the bumper or existing tail pipe. Can't see any clamps, so it looks like they weld on instead of clamp on like the OEM finishers.

Really nice, but absurdly expensive: 420 or US$647 at today's exchange rate. Just for the tips! Here's the link: Quad Tail Pipes : XJ All variants (Quad tail pipe conversion)

Better off to buy an entire new T304 stainless steel system from Mina Gallery for US$875:

My new custom-made quad exhaust tips, together with my Mina Gallery spoiler, give my 5.0L SC the 2014 XJR look!

They clamp on (very easy installation), are top quality chrome plated stainless steel, weigh over 5-1/2 lbs., and fit perfectly with no rubbing. They are double-walled, slant-cut and staggered right and left, with the outside pipe slightly shorter than the inside pipe as shown below. Here are some close-ups:

Spires Tuning in the UK offers similar XJ exhaust finishers for 420.00 (US$643.71 at today's exhange rate) plus shipping: XJ Quad Tail Pipes | Product Categories | Spires. I think theirs weld-on, but I'm not sure.

I have ONE brand-new set left for $425 delivered to the US lower 48. If you're interested, PM me. They will fit 5.0L and 3.0L XJs from 2011-2015 that have the OEM exhaust finisher pictured below. Dimensions are approximate:

I have orderes a pair of XJR finishers but i can't find anywhere if the XJR tailboxes has two outlets or one. If one it seems ok, if two i will have a problem.
Does anybody has a photo of XJR tailboxes from the bottom?

I believe, but am not certain, that the XJR has a unique model-specific exhaust system with an X-pipe and tailbox with two outlets. Hopefully, someone on the forum owns one and will post a picture. Alternatively, try searching dealer inventory for an XJR and ask them to send you pictures. Keep us posted.

XJR finishers recieved. As i can undestand from the photo Stuart provided the original ones has centered inlet for the fifnishers, but in XJR finisher oulet is moved to the one side. It means you must buy or XJR tail boxes or made some modofications to the XJR finishers. I will try to fit it but i'm almost sure it will not fit directly on the standart tailboxes.

Looks like I was wrong about the the XJR tailbox having 2 outlets. That tailbox obviously must have a single outlet but it is not in the center like the standard XJ 5.0L SC tailbox.

Rostman, it looks like the only way for those finishers to work is to buy the XJR tailboxes. Those finishers also appear to be too long to work with the standard XJ 5.0 SC tailbox. And it appears that the XJR finishers are cast iron, so modifying them to fit the standard tailbox may be impossible. Good Luck!

As i can see the central exhaust is also different so i have ordered it to be delivered with rear mufflers. I would have complete exhaust system from XJR. Lets see how it would sound.

Ok, finally all the parts were delivered. As you can see from the picture the tailbox is a little bit different.

Any chance you can shine a light down the pipes to see what the inside of the front muffler on the center pipes looks like? Maybe get some pictures inside?

When you start to replace the center pipe section can you take a side by side picture to see the differences and if the pipe diameter is different. Do you think the rear mufflers could have been connected to the old center pipes?

I will.
I think the pipe of the rear mufflers are the same diameter. I have bought center section because it was in stock and now ruble curency is going up so much so i decided to go for it now better than a few monthes later.
I will make some photos and you can be sure for the future.

So XJR exhaust allready is on the car.
There is a small difference between center section from XJR and S/C. The place where it is connected to the catalic converters is a little bit different so for now i take some timeout to understand how it would be easier to put it on, but from the outside it lojks pretty the same so i'm not sure if it does has some changes inside. On the exhaust boxes numbers are pretty the same so i'm thinking it's a waste of money to buy the center section.
Here are the numbers of the boxes from XJR center section.
On the second picture you can see di difference of the connection.

Here are the numbers from S/C center section boxes. I have forget to take the pictures of the second box but it was completely the same. The only difference os in the serial number (if i have understand right it is the serial).

Here is the photos of how it does look inside the first exhaust box.

The back boxes are also the same from inside and you can also install the XJR tail finishers on the S/C backboxes. You just need to cut the Z-piece from the existing tail box. I have bought the XJR tailboxes so i have put them on. Diameter is the same everywhere so it was easy 15 minutes job. Straight bolt on.

And now it looks like this.

It didn't do any video before the XJR exhaust was bolted on so i'm not sure if there are any chages. Could you please listen to the video and say yes or not.
And it would be great if somebody who understand if those exhaust boxes can prove if there are any difference inside the boxes because for now it looks for me like complete waste of money.

Thank you soo much for all the documentation. To me, the only thing that prevents using the old tail boxes is the hanger needs to be cut off the old pipe and somehow welded to the muffler. But it looks like we can use the new tailboxes and tips. My only question is that it appears that the old center section comes out in a "Y" in front to attach to the catalytic converter pipes and the new center section connects right at the front muffler. Many thanks. It sounds great, but not unlike the stock sound maybe a couple of DBs louder.
