Good afternoon, everyone. I hope that I am in the right place. ( 2016 XJL 3.0L V6 Supercharged.) Recently I replaced all the cheap plastic parts that were causing coolant leaks. We removed the supercharger as well. The vehicle sat for a long period of time for various reasons. We are now ready to get it back on the road, however we are unable to identify what this attachment goes to. It's located to the left behind the supercharger. We would also like to know how to gain access to the trunk with a dead battery. Thank you for your help.
That connector looks like its for the knock sensor loom.

Just be aware that if you are not a JLT tech like Rover you will NOT be able to get access! I have been shut out of my Topix account for months and Rover told me it was due to JLR getting hacked and still struggling to get everything back on-line. And those of us who are DIY/Independent guys will be the last to get back access.
Rover thanks again for helping me with Topix. I could not figure out why after multiple password changes I still had no access. JLR gave me very puzzling responses!
