Has anyone ran into this issues on an XJ yet or am I the first unlucky guy (at least on this thread) that has had an intercooler pump go out??? Reading other threads has been on older jags and an 2009 XF. Not sure where to begin just know my baby is sick and I need to get her fixed.

P.S. it’s xmas so I am really trying to avoid the dealer shock already quoted without even hooking it up saying over 1k. Also any Jag owners in the Dallas Fort Worth area that can recommend a trustworthy and competent mechanic it will be very much appreciated.

 

Yes there have been others (as Search shows). Any mechanic can change the pump if you won't do it.

 

I won’t mind doing it as long as I can source the instructions in removing the bumper in which I read needs to come off as this pump sits underneath radiator.
