Default Spy Shots: Jaguar XJ Facelift spied cold-weather testing

The Jaguar XJ was introduced in 2009, so the company is preparing a minor facelift for their flagship sedan. Caught undergoing winter-testing in the south European mountains, the prototype has been equipped with modified bumpers and a revised grille. There doesn't appear to be any other changes but we wouldn't be surprised if the production model had some additional tweaks. Engine options will likely carryover.

These pictures look to be Photoshop to me. They don't look real.

someone on the UK forum spotted a disguised XJ last week near Birmingham (UK) he said it looked very similar but just had the front and rear areas covered.

Without the camoflage wrap, I doubt anyone would have given it a second glance.

I can interpret it as being strategic. Without the camo, nobody would be talking about. Publicity is the name of the game.

I do like the changes, always felt that the bottom half was not aggressive enough on the car and making the front look smaller/shorter.
