Default X351 no Phone connect view, DAB radio, Navigation, TV

Hi few days ago when I finished shopping I realised that the radio doesn't react, after a wile I realised that sat nav doesn't react either and also can't connect my phone by bluetooth. Does any one of you have already had such an issue or even better know what can be wrong ?

I ve just spotted that it might be fuse as there is one which is responsible for all those issues the thing is I can't find the box. Can anybody send me a pic of this box?
I was following by the photo on this webpage( https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topi...05b7012/en_GB? ) but still can't find it and check whether its a fuse or not ?

many thanks

What year is the XJ and how old is the battery. These Jags are notorious for going wonky when the battery is old and cannot supply the proper amperage. BTW AGM batteries from many manufacturers are best for these beasts.

Hi there
thanks so much for your response
Its a 2013 3.0 diesel and I have just replaced the big battery 2 days ago and it hasn’t cleared the issue. I changed the s/s battery about a year ago too
My mechanic has put it on his diagnostics earlier and no faults were showing
He was unaware at the time of the third fuse box in the armrest where I believe a fuse governing these aspects may be
Hope that helps
regards John

Hi Matty
The circuit which governs this is protected by a 40A fuse which I believe was located behind the centre rear armrest, just open the leather panel
For me when the fuse was replaced it blew straight away and was eventually diagnosed by Jagtech Stockton as being a defective ecu unit located in the boot behind the RNS trim , mounted to the inner side of the wing . A new module was £1000+ from Jaguar plus fitting, However, Jagtech located a used module from a compatible XF and once replaced it worked perfectly fine at a total cost of £400 fitted with warranty
Hopefully yours will just be a blown fuse and will work when replaced
I believe that I should’ve changed both batteries at the time the stop start battery was replaced as I believe that the voltage drop of the old main battery caused too much pull of amps which popped the ecu and the fuse
Hope this helps, Regards John

Hi John,
Thanks for all the info.
I have looked behind the armrest and there are no 40amp fuses there. Is there any chance you could find out which fuse you mean?
I know this is a long shot, but it’s really desperate measures stage for me.
Thanks.
Matthew

Sorry for the really late reply but there have been a few issues in life I have had to deal with.
Anyway, Mistermatic my local Jag specialist can’t work out the issue so it has gone into Jaguar.
So far today they have said that the ACM has a fault and that a software update could brick the whole audio system They recommend I buy a new ACM at £2660+vat!! Not including installation!
They said that the fuel filter I had put on by the Jag specialist was an inferior part and it should be replaced. I asked the specialist and he has said it is a Delphi part that comes from an authorised Jaguar supplier.
They said that it needs a new DPF.
They have said there is a fuel pressure problem and water in the fuel. I knew there was water and have asked them to drain the tank. They said they would test the fuel quality. I asked why? We both know there is water in it. What will testing it change?
At this point I am looking well over £5k to get it sorted.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Matthew
