Default XJR - "Jaguar" on trunk

I noticed that most XJ cars in the street do not have the spelled "J A G U A R" in the trunk. Mine does.

The guys here in the forum already posted how to remove it. I am now wondering what to do, I can't look at it and ignore and I can't make my mind.

Jaguar was not spelled out on the trunk until 2013. The ones you see without it are probably older 2011/2012 models.

I like it without. Anybody in their right mind knows it's a Jaguar seeing the Leaper alone. And it's not as cluttered. Just my opinion.

I personally think it is worth while to spell out "Jaguar" on the trunk (boot) lid, as 90% of observers, regardless of their mental state, don't identify the Leaper as meaning Jaguar. One must realize that owners of Lincoln Navigators or Cadillac Escalades haven't got a clue they are driving around in trucks formerly assigned to hauling cargo or prisoners.
The more important question is how did you ended up with those nineteen-fifty looking quad exhausts sticking out of the rear of your car, never mind the "Jaguar" spelled out for average idiots on the road.

The nineteen-fifty quad exhausts are stock for the XJ-R. They are related to staying below 4s from 0-60mph...

If you're not careful, you may end up with one or another of the letters getting knocked off. After all, they're only glued on.

I was wiping down my 2013 XJ when I heard a "clink". It was the "J" falling on the floor of my garage. A bit of Super Glue got it refastened to the foam tape used at the factory, but I'm guessing I'll be needing to replace the letters, from time to time.

I prefer it without, while you are removing the letters, why not take off the XJ and the RS badge, and leave just the leaper? Less is more, and the quad exhausts say it all.
