It's leaking... my mechanic here called the dealership and they don't stock the seal or diff kit anymore. Explained that an 04 diff housing would bolt on and is bulletproof compared to the aluminum housing which costs 8000 from factory (which is no longer available where I am). If anyone knows an aftermarket outfit or has a line on a cast iron. Rear diff housing you would basically be saving my life.

 

search on a great differential synopsis that our member Cambo351 did on the different diffs in jag's, should help you figure out what will work, won't work.

I'd then try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and put in the years that will work, then look for a good price of a car breaker in Canada and have it shipped.

 

It depends on which diff you have. Is it the Ford/Visteon 8" or the GKN diff?

Seals are available as spares for the 8" but not for the GKN as far as I know...
