The throttle body has been replaced and with 400 miles on the new throttle, I feel pretty good.
Getting ready for heart transplant
The tricky part are the two coolant hoses. Remove the 4 holding bolts and twist the throttle body around so that you have more space to remove the coolant hose clamps
Just had my two tire TB plug fall apart last night. I was driving home and got the STD. engine systems fault and when I was poking around it decided to unplug the connectors to the TB and the two wire connector crumbled. So in my search for a replacement connector I stumbled upon this thread and found it useful. I also found another possible option other than the plug Lagonia ended up using. I'm going to order some and thought other may have some interest.
Did this 2-wire connector replacement work? It looks like a better potential fit with the design shown in your link above.
It does not fit. The side grooves are not centered and the top groove is not wide enough on Denso connector. Pictures are from X-Type TB, but I assume is the same as X350.

I continue to search for a replacement connector, there just has to be one out there.
Other than putting me in limp mode, I did not have any other issues that I could attribute to the throttle body.
I lost very minimal coolant. Pretty much a non-issue there.

When I get home I plan on looking at the wire connections to it, but I am curious to know where you sourced your new throttle body unit? I think I may have seen some on eBay, but I'm hesitant to purchase from there. What are your thoughts?

I got it at SNG Barratt (SNG Barratt - The Ultimate Jaguar Parts Specialist) and the part number is C2C20541. I have installed it last February and have since put 8,000 with absolutely no issues. The car is still my daily driver.
