Bought 2004!xj8r at auction yesterday. It came with 2 keys . 1 key has not fob but unlocks car and starts car. 2nd key goes in but wont unlock doors or turn ignition to any postion? So i put title and paper work in glove box . My buddy pushed the valet mode buttom and it locked the trunk and glove box. The remote doesnt work I replaced the battery.i cant get it programmed Help me please somebody!

If you can lock and unlock car using key in driver's door.

That should disable the valet system.

 

If the key in the driver doesn't work it will definitely work by using the key to open the trunk. Any cheap ford remote key fob can be paired to the car.
