Angry saturday night headhake trying to reflash TCM !

Even in the service function , I had no way to reflash the TCM , to erase the memory related to driver way of driving ok , to read some bulletins ok , but nothing else ( see screen shot in the xls file join )

I try to reflash engine ECM because the choice was under the recommandations list , but it was not possible , the answers was " no calibration for the variant "

I wonder if these issues came from the V 128 DVD , but it seems TCM reflash was ok from V119 ( see pdf file join ) , or came from my OEDB2 mongoose

I'm travelling on business the next 2 weeks so I'm not near my car & i don't have my SDD laptop with me to check the exact procedure.

I doubt that it has anything to do with the Mongoose. Maybe it is the software you have installed? Unlikely but it doesn't make sense that the option to reflash the transmission module is not there as in "not available for this variant"

Or maybe it's a problem with the French-language version software?

Smile one reflash and all is ok !

I finally succed to reflash both engine and gearbox ECU with V131 software and the mongoose

all fault code and dashboard message desapperared !

and now the car runs very well

Thanks again to all the menbers of this forum whose advice help me to save nearly 4 k€ !

If I have been alone , I would have been convinced by the dealer that the gearbox was wrong

One remaining question is , are they really not efficent , or too interested in winning money ? !

Some dealers are bad. Jaguar should police them.

Very good outcome!

Am I reading this correctly? Your problems reflashing were solved by V131?

Hello ,
I made this 3 years ago ! , but if I remenber well , Mongooose came with the software and it can be installed like all software by clicking and following the menus , as an alternative , the software can be downloaded from Mangoose official site

About injector , I think as SDD need some symptoms to provide any advice , you should try to choose injector related issues in the list in order the SDD propose you to change the injector and update the injector data

hope this will help ( should have been more visible by skilled members if made in a new thread )
