DSC not available
So, a weird thing happened this afternoon. I started the car up, and I saw the "DSC not available" error. I was only going a few blocks, but it was raining so I decided to drive. Anyway, aside from the dash lighting up a bit, the car drove fine. Fast forward about 20 minutes and I started the car up again. No lights this time, no error. However, as I pulled onto my street, the car powered way, way down and shuddered. I couldnt go faster than about 5 mph. The error light came back on too. I didn't really know what else to do, so I stopped and restarted. Same thing happened about 100 feet later, but this time (before I stopped) the car lurched forward under what seemed like normal power. Ideas?

I started getting DSC not available at the same time as ABS Fault right after I had my front end aligned. When I drive it for awhile, stop and restart it, the lights and messages clear.
Every morning on the first drive, all is well, then, the lights and messages upon second drive. Third drive, clear, etc.
I have done a lot of reading on this. It can be many things. It can be a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor. It can be dirty contact areas on the the wheel speed sensor connections. It can be wiring from the sensors going to the 'puter. It can be the throttle body. It can also be condensation getting into the electronic connections going into the throttle body.
In my case, it seems the place to start should be the speed sensors, as the problem started right after a front end alignment.
I drive very short distances, and very little overall especially compared with most other drivers. So, this is not a priority for me although it should be. But with how busy I am, I have neglected to troubleshoot this problem. I plan to work on it over the next week or so. I will update the boards as I progress through my learnings.
