Default Engine firing order

Hello y'all, I was wondering if anyone here knows the firing order of the Jaguar XJ8 2008 4.2 I need to replace an ignition coil on cylinder 6 (misfire and pretty sure that's what is causing issue I already replaced all the spark plugs) and I have looked everywhere but I can't seem to find the firing order anywhere online please help and thanks I'd rather not spend a fortune on replacing all the coils

Yes, good hint, just for fun Jaguar has changed the cylinder numbering for the V8 engines every year. And no, you don't have to thank for the information.

JackOL,

The guys above have already given you the correct answer?
The diagram shows 2002.5 MY ONWARDS...
The cylinder numbers are shown on the diagram and their firing order is given at the bottom?
The firing order is irrelevant? iI cylinder number six is misfiring then cylinder number six has a problem which a simple OBD reader should diagnose with a code? Personally, I would swap No 6 Coil over with another to see if the misfire moves with it? After all, it could also be the injector?

Yes the firing order is irrelevant it was a my bad thing however the diagram is for 2002, I need a cylinder order diagram for 2008 and from 2003 - 2007 the cylinder order is the same afterwards it changes for 2008 so the 2002 diagram and this one don't work for me

What makes you think it changed for 2008?

I'm not aware that it changed. (As in: I don't think it did.)
