I was checking my fluids, and foolishly placed the expansion tank cap right in front of the opening to the air cleaner intake pipe. Of course I knocked it in. Yes, I'm a complete idiot and deserve my fate.

Does anyone have advice on an easier way to recover the cap than removing the entire air cleaner assembly?

Just in case anyone else does the same thing, turns out if you remove the air filter, you can reach up the intake pipe and pull the cap out from the bottom.
