Fluid leak 2004 XJ8

Have a fluid leak,the fluid is almost clear with a slight tan tint,and coming from the transmission area,could it be transmission,anyone know the color of transmission fluid in these

Sounds like transmission fluid.

A leak around the mechatronic sleeve is common.

That is where the wiring exit the transmission

trying to find out what type of fluid to add that's same as factory,i know you are not to mix fluids,any info?

Lifeguard 6 is OEM spec. Sounds like what you have.

i checked online and it says lifeguard 6 is for BMW

And Jaguar... if you have the 6HP26 transmission
