Default Heater hose part numbers

The hoses I am talking about are behind the engine and hook directly to the heater core at the firewall. I am in the process of R&I engine and resealing it and I wanted to change ALL the rubber hoses.

I hope I can help everyone out with heater hose part numbers that fit our cars these where very difficult to track down because they where only available as complete assembly’s from Jaguar priced at $300 also included the metal pipes that went inside the apron forward to the radiator.
2004-2006 showed only available as complete assembly
2007-2009 showed these two part numbers
C2C27714
C2C27715
I took a chance and bought them and they fit perfect on my 2005 XJ8L!

Which model they are from?
S Types parts are often the source, as we have all seen.
Always good to find another, nice work.

Wingrider the heater hoses are from 07-09 XJ8, and they fit my 2005 XJ8L perfectly.

OK, those have the push to open plastic connectors instead of the steel ring type, if i understand what you say.
If so the loss of the retaining ring being a big deal, is over.

Wingrider these hoses are the exact fit hoses by the firewall. They use the steel spring hose clamps but I don’t like reusing them so I put regular worm gear clamps.

If they use the steel clips don't they come with new clips as per Jag hoses?

Yes any from the dealer that i ever purchased, were wrapped in plastic, and had them included.

If purchased off E Bay, the clamps could have been used on another car.

I personally really DO like the spring type clamps from the factory,so much so that.

I used the old spring clamps, from a hose that was replaced, from another Jaguar. onto the newest Jag.

Where it had a couple of worm type gear clamps, on a hose when it was purchased. I hate those worm type gear clamps.

The spring clamps keep a constant even pressure, much better on the hose, as well as the plastic it clamps onto.

The worm type clamps do not. But pressure enough to crack the plastic, can easily be applied, causing a leak. Just as well as not enough pressure, will cause things to leak as well.

Hey Wingrider I just thought I would share some part numbers for some hoses that where hard for me to track down being I been working on Jaguar cars for 30 years I figured I would help my fellow jaguar lovers out.
Wingrider a simple thanks was all I needed. I don’t want to turn my thread into a wrestling match talking about a worm gear clamp compared to a spring tension one.
MY NEW JAGUAR HOSES CAME FROM JAGUAR AND THEY DID NOT COME WITH REPLACEMENT SPRING CLAMPS.
At my shop we do not reuse old spring clamps because it’s a 50% chance they will leak.
Wingrider if you don’t mind don’t post on this thread again.
