Help...09 SV8 Portfolio....airbag light
Just bought a 09 SV8 Portfolio...34k miles...one issue.. Airbag light on all the time.
dealer says...passenger seat slide needed as there is some airbag part attached to it...need full seat slide( sounds nuts) at 3500.00....But factory no longer has those...Dealer telling me im out of luck...
cant be so.
Help..

Remove the bolts to the seat and tilt back slightly and check to see if the yellow connector is connected.
There are a few connectors under the seat. I'd start there. Fingers crossed

First things first. You need to get us the code(s) that are in the module for the air bag. Then we can proceed...
