2004 XJR with air suspension. Car is not currently running, does not start and needs to be moved. However the suspension is completely aired down and where it is located a tow truck can not reach and there is a hump that will hang it up. Someone else started into a head gasket job and bailed before completing. The engine will not run and I highly doubt we will get any thing else to work with out much work. My goal is to help the owner get the car loaded and brought to a shop that will be able to either replace the motor or put the car back together.

In order to get this done we need to get the suspension inflated. Is there a way to manually inflate the system and get the car sitting a little higher just to load it onto a trailer or tow truck?

I have other options I could mess with but it would be real easy if I could just get the to a normal ride height.

I have searched but not found anything on this issue

The suspension is controlled by computer based upon height sensing modules at the wheels.

If you could get the power on the suspension might rise IF there are no issues with the compressor or air bags on each strut.

All air lines go into a hookup in the trunk next to the reservoir. Manually forcing air into each line in theory might be possible but not at all easy.

When I purchased my original X350 the owner before me had a manual fitting screwed to the top of each front strut and hooked up a air hose and manually filled each strut with air from a shop compressor.

If I find the fittings in my tool box I'll include a pic.

It was pretty inventive to say the least. (And worked)
