Default Key in ignition - sticky

Hi. Over the past month or so, I have been having difficulty starting the car as the key won't turn in the ignition. Eventually, after wiggling and pulling back slightly it will work, but I am afraid one day it may not.

Would anyone know if this is just a worn key, or more likely the ignition lock?

Much appreciated.

Use your other key!
If it works fine, then it is the key.

You sir, are either very smart, or I am stupid. Perhaps a bit of each?

I am thinking I can order a key blank and get it cut somewhere. Looks like Amazon sells em.

Much appreciated!

Please don't tell me you ONLY have ONE key?

I hear so many stories of "OH I NEVER LOSE MY KEY SO I DON'T NEED A SPARE!!!!!!!!"
Good luck with that.

Then those people post on the forum " I lost the key, what can I do?"

I just shake my head.

I have another key and it works so I will need another key to replace my original. One key is risky though.
