The battery on my '95 VDP is going so I decided to put the Interstate I bought for the '04 VDP last December, into the '95 and wanted to get an AGM battery for the '04. I stumbled onto to an excellent deal for one and thought I'd pass it on for anyone else looking for AGM batteries

One caveat -- The Bosch Platinum AGM is the Exide battery, not the Johnson Controls unit. Exide is emerging from Chapter 11, in case anyone is concerned about long term warranty issues due to the bankruptcy. I don't think it is a problem, but thought I should mention it.

 

good find. seems like they jacked the prices up a bit though. with tax it only comes out to a $15 savings over the AGM AC Delco that I found on Amazon for my wife's S6.

 

AAA replaced my battery in the driveway last month on the coldest day of the year here in Chicago for $175. Worth every penny even if wasn't 20 below zero F.
