Hi everyone, just wanted to share this nicely done commercial on the XJ8. The commercial was shot in Toronto, Canada.

I loved that. Got more? Watching those cars riding around town is delightful. The footage and editing is fantastic. Love the transitions coming from the nav screen and the rear DVD screens and mirrors. Nicely done.

BTW, if you know that agency, we may be able to refer leads to them, and visa versa. I'm in the business of TV advertising!

Very interesting to note that the XJR in the footage has a non-wood steering wheel. I wonder if all Canadian "R's" were configured that way.

 

Don, you posted a video entitled X350-Born To Perform. After careful review, I have decided that the car in the spot is in fact a chromed car. Not silver, but the entire car, including the Sepang's, is chrome. Do you know anything about that? Very cool ads.

 

The car shown at launch at the Paris and British motor shows was supposedly bare polished aluminium to highlight the new body (see attached pics).

 

That is too cool. Didn't know that.
