Default Park Brake fault

My 2004 XJ8 recently started messaging "park brake fault' and now battery is being drained every 24 hours. Have checked the fuses, All seem OK. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums Harvey,

I've moved your question from Audio/Visual Electronics to X350 forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Something, probably NOT the park brake, is causing a drain - go hunting. I like to measure the volts across each fuse (see existing posts / youtube).

The brake message usually just reflects the flattened battery.
