Default Radiator replaced now 2004 xj8 overheats

Alright here is the story this is my mother's car the radiator was cracked so she had it replaced now the engine overheats after about 5 to 10 minutes of driving. I have replaced the water pump and the thermostat housing. Inside the water pump the impellers looked just fine and it spun freely, Aldi with the thermostat housing nothing was broken and the thermostat opened and closed just fine so now I am stuck, I know there is a second small aux pump could that be the problem?

also for reference where she took it to get the radiator replaced she returned to and all they told her was that the head gasket is blown and that they wouldnt work on head gaskets. Yet the oil is clean and there isn't any smoke coming out the back also it runs quite smooth up until it jumps to overheating.

It's probably trapped air.
I suggest that you jack up the front or park on a steep drive
and drain the cooling system.
Refill slowly and periodically run the engine for short periods with the cap off
until the system is full.

There's a vent screw on top of the expansion tank that should be removed for filling. That's its exact purpose... to allow air to escape as coolant is added. Add coolant to somewhere between the MIN and MAX posts visible under the pressure cap.

Do not run the engine with that screw removed, you'll just pump coolant out of the car.

If possible get the coolant drained and then refill using a vacuum re-filler. This is a real common tool today and a lot of modern cars have problems getting all the air out.
