Default Restricted performance after fix (no codes)

Hi I have just changed coil pack on cylinder 8. Cleared codes, EML gone and no codes off but car still in restricted performance. I only have basic obd2 reader to clear codes.. do I need to do a full hard reset via battery or do I just need a little time for computer to rework its brain etc.

many thanks

Did you run/drive the car only for a very short time or distance? In my experience the cars don’t
like that and will at the next start enter in restricted performance. Try driving it for approx 15 minutes (with restricted performance), turn the car off, wait for a few minutes and restart.

thank you will try this tomorrow. After a quick check of the codes listed in my original post… only p0208 and restricted performance remain.
