Default Searching for TSB - Shift cable bracket loosening

I read that a TSB exists for a problem where the shifter cable bracket on the side of the transmission comes loose after the retaining bolts work their way out. Would anyone have that TSB?
My car is a 2005 XJ8L, 4.2L, with a ZF 6HP26 transmission.

No but it's dead easy to check?
Just get under the car and look. The cable is only attached with two small bolts and it will be very easy to tell.

Thanks, clubairth1! Unfortunately, I recently had bypass surgery and a stroke, so I'm unable to climb under the car for a while. I was hoping to get that TSB in case I have to send the car to a local garage. Not the best of times.

Any garage can do it if you just say it's the 2 bolts holding the shift cable to the trans side, under the car. I don't think there is a TSB but you don't need it if there is!

Here are the TSBs/Service Actions we got when I was at the dealer.
XJ307-08 is the one you are looking for.

Sorry to hear of your problems but be happy that this is a very minor problem and quickly fixed once you take a look! The key is to use Lock-tite when installing the 2 small bolts. Never have another problem after that!
Motorcarman thanks for the TSB's too!
