UPDATE: Anyone reading the thread because of failed mid-bass speakers in the doors (and they DO fail- I found 3 of 4 mid-bass door speakers out on the 07 VDP when I bought it) - this is just a warning, from a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake, that I am hoping to save someone else from making:

When you remove rear door panels on any long wheelbase car, the plastic panel retainer pin in the bottom? There are TWO (2) in each door bottom on the longer doors of LWB cars. Not realizing/remembering this, and knowing the 5 or 6 big retaining pins on the door panel take a lot of force to pull the panel off, I actually tore the vinyl at the bottom near the door pocket. I was horrified. Still am, actually, and yes, I could probably find a black, LWB door panel, but a)I was able to fix it to a point its not really noticeable unless you are looking for it and b) I feel like I need to suffer for my stupidity and should not just throw $100-150 to "erase" my absolute blatant buttheadedness. I earned it, so I will now live with it. The most embarrassing part? I had taken a back door panel off at least once prior to do this, though it was years prior on my XJ8-L. Still. Ugh. Just... Ugh.

So yeah, make sure you have both black plastic retaining pins out of the panel before you start using a huge panel separator or similar to pop the door panel off. You don't want to join this club. Trust me, lol.
