throttle aftermarket controller
Acceleration hesitation from a stop.It acts like it only wants to go when it gets around to it. Ifind myself feathering gas pedal to get it to take off. what is wrong?
How to repair. Was told its a fly by wire car, an i need electronic aftermarket controller. Is that true?

True.
No.
Probably something like an air leak or blocked fuel filter or failing fuel pump or ...
If you're not going to DIY find a competent tech!

Hmmm air leak just reminded me of what happen with a broken drivers engine mount. Lets the air intake tube from the throttlebody pull loose and when you give it so much gas the engine jumps up it falls on its face till engine and tube come back together. Hense the "feathering the throttle to go" how i know i have broken my engine mounts again. I keep telling myself to cable the engine down like on my race car. And since youre a tech you know to give the car gas in drive with foot on the brake and hood open to see if the mounts are indeed broken by how much the engine jumps up. I know your old now cause you forgot that shyt.
