I can't resist. This post is horrible on so many levels. From the atrocious grammar and syntax errors, to the inane question...even the topic which makes no sense. It's not a truth or dare...sounds like you're asking if it's truth or fiction. What does a dare have to do with this? You said it lured you into the showroom, and now you want to know if it's as attractive and luxurious as they say on the commercial. You just looked at it, yet your question suggests you need the input of someone who has actually seen the car, implying that you have not. The car is a month old...there have been no reliability statistics developed.
Here's a sensible revision:
Gentlemen, I impulsively purchased the new XJ, and I'm having second thoughts. To those who own the new XJ, can you share your opinions on what you like/don't like about it? There is still time for me to return the car if I so choose.

Kid delicious: really, no need to get vicious. Sounds like Mozart is on the verge of buyer's remorse, so just be gentle and give him your honest input. That is all he is asking, I think.

I have just under 1,900 miles on mine and so far it is living up to all of my expectations. Yes, there are a couple of minor squeeks and rattles that I will have the dealer address like every other car I have owned and I was informed upon delivery of a few features, like voice command, that will not be available until later this year, but no fatal problems. I believe this will be a real winner for Jaguar--it is drop dead gorgeous, gets lots of looks, is very quick, and a blast to drive. Reliable? Too early to tell, but chances are good based on my experience owning an '02 and '05 XJR, which were excellent cars.

He is just asking a question no need to be frustrated ,kids.
ysgeye, thanks for your sedating message .
The car is too new to make a complaint , if you read some threads you will see there are some little glitches but being a new model and very 1st year those can be expected not for Jag but for any brand

Just my opinion, but I believe that the "Subject" of this OP says it all.
I think that Mozart is orchestrating a little composition for strings (pulling) at the expense of the forum.

Thank you kid delicious since you seem to like dispensing unsolicited advice allow me to add weren't you ever taught any manners?such as it's rude or at least inapproiate to offer unwanted or unneeded advice. Maybe I'll stick to the corvette forum( my second) they're not such tight asses and like to offer helpful advice not meaningless drivel

Wouldn't it then, by that logic, be rude for you to offer me the advice that it's rude and inappropriate to offer unwanted or unneeded advice? Seems like a vicious circle. Unless there is an exception to the rule which stipulates that it's not inappropriate to offer unwanted advice if it's in response to offering unwanted advice...sort of a retaliatory clause or something.
I agree with you Quiet 1...something smells in stinkville.
