Hello all, I was cleaning the engine from dust and snapped this very thin and brittle hosing to this '3-line branched' gizmo. Would any of you know what it is and part(s) number? Is it part of the overall EVAP system?
Thank you this is the gizmo that just snapped off so easily this is my temp patch job with silicone to seal this leads down to the bottom of car somewhere what is this connection for that is connected to the gizmo? this the line from the right near-fender in the previous pic 3rd connection that connects to a valve

I'm with EsRay, my car is a Japan market model, and doesn't have this. Perhaps it was only on cars in the North American market?
Older cars had engine driven air pumps for this, but perhaps the pump is now electric.

Pete M, I found the answer on the internet. It was fitted at the 2006 update and only to North American cars.
Wingrider, based on my very limited knowledge of these matters in the US, probably more California's particular fixation than the US Federal Governments?
