Default Where is the computer?

Silly question but I really have no idea where it is. AND is it difficult to pull

Which computer, there are several, engine, transmission, body, entertainment, climate, etc.

If you mean the ECU it's under the glovebox, remove the carpet trim under the glovebox and you'll see it. It's held in with some security Torx bits, from memory they are 5-point instead of the usual 6-point.

Also, the ECM connector is accessed from the engine bay, under the cabin microfilter housing, which must be removed. The manual states that you must remove the windshield wipers and windshield cowl, but I was able to get the microfilter housing out by just removing the fasteners on the right end of the cowl and moving it up out of the way (I didn't touch the wipers). The harness connector attaches to the ECM with one 5-point security Torx fastener that remains in the connector once loosened. The security Torx fasteners have a central pin so your bit must have a center hole. I found an inexpensive set on eBay.

Seems like it will be fun. Ill do it this weekend. Finally getting to it to get it reflashed
