Hi,
I really didn't want to bother anyone with this but after about 6 weeks of searching I am hoping that someone can help me out here. I am in need of a 1996 XJ6 exterior door handle for the rear driver side. Does anyone have an idea where I can find one? In my opinion I looked everywhere I could think of.
Thanks,
Jomo

Yes your right - lots of right-hand handles, no lefts - at least on e-bay.
There's a guy in Riverside California that sells a lot of X300 parts - you might look him up on e-bay and send him an email - valdezgregorio is the name on e-bay.
Sometimes he has parts that he has not gotten around to listing.

Lee,
I just messaged valdezgregorio on ebay and hopefully he/she will have it. Thanks for the info.

Try this, it's in the UK on ebay. This is for a gearbox, but it shows the company in the south of England UK. They break lots of Jags and are very reasonable on cost

Cost of postage is often cheaper and quicker than from LA as well. the no. eBay item number:252207785037 and then look through ads or message them and ask. They've been very helpful to me and their service was always prompt

What overtheatlantic said. For driver's-side things that break on LHD cars, go to the UK ebay sites for their RHD counterparts. I've done that with sun visors on cars where they tend to break from overuse on the driver's side.

Door handle.
If you get stuck, let me know, as I have a donor car and would be happy to send you a handle. It's a RHD here in Ireland, so in my language, you're looking for a rear passenger side handle, which is rear drivers in the U.S. Right?

It might take a week to remove it as I'm away working a lot, but let me know. Happy to donate it if you're happy to give a few dollars to your favourite charity.

Let me know exactly what you're looking for.

I finally found and ordered the door handle. It took about two month to find so it was not too bad. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Yes, that is the side I need. Sorry that I wrote driver's side- I was not thinking. For the record, I found the handle and should have it next week. Thanks for the offer.
