I happened to see a mention of someone who does a bluetooth conversion of the OEM radio in the X300 on a "book of faces" post.
However there was no mention of actual contact info other than to say this could be found on evil-bay
I have searched there for "Jaguar radio bluetooth" but so far I have not found anything.
Anyone know anything about such a conversion?
I have in the past put an aftermarket radio in a XJ40 car that I own but I was never satisfied with the look of the resulting change in radio head units.
The other mod is tapping into the cassette circuit with a jack soldered into the cassette head pickup , this will be your free input line this is direct with no signal loss or compromise but losing the cassette . This is no cassette device insert but you place a tie wrap on cassete carriage inside to mimic the cassete needs to be alive
Marks device will plug into the 8 pin DIN plug at the original head and if you have the external in the trunk final stage amplifier ( premium Jaguar stereo option ) you would loss that and would have to use the original built speaker outputs coming out of the rear AJ9500A

Thanks Parker
Is there any additional info or maybe write-ups with detail photos of how to do that?
BTW, I did search for "solder aux jack" and "solder jack radio" in this forum and nothing showed up.
Is the same radio head unit used in the XJ40 and maybe these details were posted in that forum?
