I do know that when a Jaguar check engine light comes on it means that there is a problem with the fuel system but I don't know what exactly it means. What are some things I should check for when the light comes on? Mine just came on.

There are actually a couple hundred possible faults that could trigger the light. Best bet is to buy a code reader ($50 or so) and see what codes have been set. Knowing the code will get you started in the right direction

If you don't want to buy a code reader, a local auto parts store may lend you theirs. I know Advanced Auto should have one that you can borrow for 5 minutes in the parking lot. Make sure you write the code down, and let us know what it was.
