Default Contact Info for ICE Head Unit Repair?

I guess my search skills have gone to pot. I know it is posted in here several places, but just can't find it. Anyone? I'm looking to have an OEM Head Unit refurbished, however inadvisable that may be....though also keeping a keen eye on Jacob's aftermarket installation.

Anyone that repairs ALPINE radios should be able to do the repair.

Are you looking for a unit? I think that I may have one for sale.

I have a need for the white large connector as one I pulled from the salvage yard didn't make it home and the salvager threw it away during teardown area cleannup

Not really - got 4 units for 3 cars. The lad seems to be rough on 'em. The one his car came with was stuck on a volume (a too high one, IMO) and eventually I swapped it out for a Pick-n-pull unit. This worked fine for a year or two, now is not "stuck" like the previous one, as you can turn it off or on without resorting to fuse pulling, but volume is at a fixed-level that doesn't change - and that barely above a whisper.

The HU in the SpruceBruce seems to be fully functional, but the display is practically unreadable. Orig. HU in my 95 is working fine, apart from occasional unresponsiveness when left in airport parking for 3 days, then it takes about 1-2 weeks' daily driving to sort it.

I showed the lad the Jacob Hankins thread and despite preferring the OEM look, he's quite keen on it. College-bound teens gots to have their tunes! We will probably go that route for him, it appears.

I may still have one of my existing repaired, though...

Parker - cut the wires a few inches back of the connector when pulling the head unit at the pick-n-pull..then buy the whole head unit - you'll have the connector and pigtail attached when you get home! Hit them on half-price day for a better deal.
