Electrical issue.
Hey fellas,
Ya try to do a favor and what do you know. I asked my son to remove the headliner so we could install new cloth on it. He followed the tutorials inline and now the driver's window doesn't work and both seats wont work. Huh! He just disconnected the stuff in the ceiling. Any ideas? Tried the global closing and global opening with and all windows open and close, but can't close the drivers window with the switch.reinstalled the center roof console, nothing. Do all the lights have to be connected also?

He should have disconnected the battery first. Try a hard reset: Disconnect the neg. cable and short it to the pos. to discharge the modules and reset.
He may have just blown a fuse, but a module could also have been damaged. If you have the wiring diagram check the relevant fuses.

We did do a hard reset. No joy. The windows work with global opening but not with door switches. Do you know which fuses to look for and their location at fusebox? to make matters worse both seats are fully reclined and all the way back. and both seats don't work. Oh happy day.
Checking all the fuses with a test lamp ($5.00 at the Chinese tool store) is less than 5 minutes job. Just pin the outer hole in each fuse to ground with ignition on. If no light, check the inner hole to make sure it is a "hot" circuit.
You might have a pinched wire in the visor or overhead console.

Right on, sparkenzap. Turned out to be a 5 Amp fuse behind the driver's seat. My son wanted to recline the seat as much as possible and tried to smash it into the rear seat. The fuse saved the motor from being fried. Thanks to all who responded. Without this forum and you guys I would't be able to drive these cars. I am so grateful.
