Default Fan comes on at startup
Why would the fan come on as soon as you turn the key on without the engine running. Temp outside is in the 30s

There was a TSB that was done resulting in this response once ignition key rotation

To know that it was done .......

You will see a jumper plug on the 2 wire freon pressure switch connector

Hmm so what the TSB is saying is that in position II the fan will run? I know it only ran when it got hot on Big Red.

Yes

The TSB probably only gets done if an issue is brought up to a Jaguar dealer

Mine was not done

We performed the Single Pressure Switch – Service Modification on almost every car that came into the dealership.
I guess a few cars got through without the MOD.
Easy to do by 'shorting' the wires on the switch.
