Help baby got hit lastnight
Well, one of my worst fears has happened. We got snow last night and my sweetheart got hit by the plow company. Owner of plow company wants to pay for repairs out of pocket. Little does he know how much these things cost to fix.
Im in Delaware and im reaching out to you guys for what your thoughts are on repairs that need to happen, speculative costs and help for parts.
THANKS!

Make an accident report, notify insurance company. If you do not want a headache, let your insurance company fix and bill plow company. Safest way to go. Damage like that is over the cost in most states for mandatory accident filing. Plow company is in dire insurance threat if he wants to do out of pocket. He needs to straighten up and be more careful, instead of hit and miss fast, and go to next job. Taillight alone will be half the cost.

Sorry to hear that. It has the potential to be expensive. See photo of mine. It was hit some 5 years ago. It had some some hidden damages, but not too many. Insurance paid all. I did see the invoice. Sure it was in very expensive Norway, but exceeding 5 digits USD (converted from NOK at today's rate) was a surprise.
I cannot imagine the plow company affording this kind of money out of the pocket. But you also must consider what your insurance company may be willing to pay before writing it off.
Luckily, my insurance company was ok with it.
