Is it possible you got some contaminated fuel before you left on the trip?

Have you scanned the ECUs for any stored diagnostic trouble codes?

Cheers,

Don

The CEL codes for the X300 can be found on page 111 or 121 depending on year

In the states the auto parts stores will read them for free as they want to sell you the repair parts

I don't know how they do it in England

make sure you write down the numbers and don't rely on memory

I fail to remember them all myself

One of interest is the P0335 on page 111 or 121 of the doc provided for the crankshaft position sensor

This code alot of times does not show even though the item is defective

There is a code P0340 for a separate Camshaft position sensor that is only used in the starting sequence

Easy to get them mixed up , ask me how I know

Make sure after you write down the codes you have them reset or cleared
