Picked up kitty tonight
Hello all!
Picked up the XJ 6 Tonight!
I'm probably going to make the purists cringe, but I would call the exterior ice blue and the interior dove grey. SMOOTH, SMOOTH, SMOOTH would be my best description.
I'm glad to officially be in the club.

Congratulations Bucky, and welcome to Jaguar ownership. I'm not sure where the color code is on an X300 (it may be on a label on the A- or B-pillar inside the driver's door. If you'll post the exterior and interior trim codes on this forum I'm sure one of the knowledgeable members will tell you Jaguar's official names for the paint and interior colors.
Cheers,
Don

Congrats, Bucky83!
Ice blue is my favourite colour on a Jaguar but then again my opinion might be one of bias lol. You will no doubt receive many compliments on the colour as it happens to me all the time.
My XJR has Grey interior, too, with the official name (in my case) being Nimbus Grey.
Enjoy!

Congratulations on the XJ6.
Never mind cringing purists - you'll be the one to cringe if you ever need touch-in paint and don't give the right code!
Enjoy it.

I see what you mean, there are a lot of ways to name a color... Even if it is wrong. :-) There are some stone chips that are touched-up with a "close but no cigar" color. I will be fixing those.
