Rear handbrake
Hi,
Does anyone know if the rear brake caliper from an early X350 will fit on an X300?
Im looking to change the drum in hat handbrake mechanism to a more conventional hydro-mechanical system. It looks like the early x350's have manual parking brakes which are cable operated.
Im looking to understand if the caliper mounting positions are the same i.e 90mm between bolt centres, and approx 28mm from the centreline of the disc. The current disc is 305mm diameter.
I've been looking at a Wilwood conversion but this requires the use of special brackets.
Any help, advice etc, etc, always appreciated.
Thanks

I think there is only one interchangeable part between the X300/X350: the shift knob.
But it is very interesting that the overall styling is similar to, and an evolution of the X300/308 and based on the classic saloon design. The last leaper.
