Running without the the supercharger
Just picked up a perfect 96 XJR here in CA, 2 months ago.
I absolutely love it complements my xjs perfectly.
I was checking out all the belts and removed the S/C belt.
I then was curious on how it would run with out it.
Besides being alot slower the engine runs fine and my MPG is
av round 24 mpg much better than the 17 I was getting.
since gas here is 4.35 sounds like I might keep it like this
for a bit.
Anybody have any input on if this would harm the engine, if
i ran like this for a little while? sadly ill be loosing the
whole point of the xjr

Thanks and yes I have seen that one too and it looks really nice with only 49k miles on it...but the thing that bugs me about it is the autocheck says there has been six owners of the car and the owner says he's the second and I'm not sure what to think about it..? But thanks for the reply!
