Searching for MAF sensor
I need a new mass airflow sensor for my x300 (3.2, 6-cyl, 1997, Europe/Denmark)
This part is not beeing produced anymore, but I believe it should be possible to find somewhere in the world, new or used.
My mechanic has installed a used one, found secondhand in Denmark, but this is not working probably. The engine runs (almost) okay at idle but lacks power after 60-70 km/h (40-50 mph)
Anyone that knows a place to find this part? Preferably Europe or England

I'd troubleshoot that thing first. You should be able to see a rise in numbers, through an OBD2 reader! If it stops rising after a certain speed, then you might be right.
Loss of power could be TPS, or even oxygen sensors.

Thank you for your answer. I have (or, my mechanic has) replaced the maf sensor, to a secondhand part, which didn’t work out very well. But it actually improved the run some, so I’m quite sure the problem lyes here. I had a Jaguar expert make the troubleshooting part (a year ago) and he said there might be a problem here.
Look at MAFs for a 1997 Land Rover Range Rover V8, part #ERR5595
Supposedly slightly different versions of the Sagem-Lucas "20AM" but they're $30 used and $80 for a rebuilt unit, at least on this side of the pond

The P38 Range Rover MAF works perfectly fine in an x300 and there are plenty available and are relatively cheap too, as above part number ERR5595.

XJR’s is calibrated for a significantly different flow rate/curve.
The 5AM on the 14CUX Rover V8 and the 15CU 4.0 AJ6 also happen to be set up pretty similarly.

I couldn't find a good genuine new or secondhand MAF so I bought an aftermarket Range Rover one that works fine. Only difference is that the mounts rotate the body a little differently to standard but that doesn't matter. Just search eBay for Range Rover MAF or ERR5595
