Why no heated seats?
Why were there no heated seats in these cars? I have a 1997 XJ6 and a 1996 XJ6 but neither one has heated seats.
These were supposed to be higher end luxury cars so why didn't they have this feature?
If these were VdP cars of the same years, do those have heated seats?

Sovereigns and VDPs were fitted with OPTIONAL HEATED SEATS.
Many COLD WEATHER countries probably have them.
I know when I worked at the dealer and a car with a MAPLE LEAF sticker (imported Canadian cars) on the door jam were fitted with them as well as things like heated windscreens and cold weather packages.
Find an imported Canadian car from an auction in Buffalo NY and it will likely have what you want.

According to parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com, front and rear seat heaters were available in the Sovereign, Sport, Vanden Plas and Daimler variants of the X300, but perhaps they were available only in cold-weather markets or only by special order.
The contemporaneous BMW 7-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class cars also offered front and rear seat heaters, but those cars were generally more expensive than Jaguars.

There are about 2 or 3 versions of the front seats denoted by the individual seat controller mounted one way or the other ( thinking)
Sometimes referred to as memory or non-memory seat that return / move to a preset position by the 3 small round " setting " buttons on the driver door master controller
The fuse is in the right # 9 / 25 amp heelboard fuse box , this 1 fuse for both fwd seats
