Is it worth fixing?
So the 96'XJR I got last year, requires about $2k in repairs now...
I am just thinking if it whether to keep it or sell it. I can handle an occasional repair like this, but if it breaks down monthly or something, I don't know what I am going to do :-(
I would appreciate any advice or opinions, as I don't know what to do...

If money is no object, fix.
I purchased a 1998 xj8 from my best friend. He recently dumped several thousand dollars in repairs and needed maintenance in it. He then offered me a deal I felt I could not pass up. It is only because I am familiar with this car, seen the receipts, and know it was well taken care of that I own it now.
If I had to do 2k in repairs/maintenance, I'd have to let it go.
