Default XJR breather tube

The breather tube on the x300 XJR goes from the valve cover to the intake manifold, but the tube has a smaller third branch that runs off to the side. Can someone tell me where this should be connected? Thanks!

Goes to the throttle body also but I think its after the butterfly so direct into the inlets

Default Crank case breather

I just fitted a catch can on my 1996 XJR I blocked the small tube off and routed the larger hoses through the can hoping to keep the throttle body cleaner and oil free.

What brand/model catch can did you use? Did it come with the bracket you used to mount it, or did you fabricate it?

It's clear where you connected it to the valve/cam cover breather hose outlet, but can you clarify where you attached the other end of the hose?

I purchased this off eBay item number 151524056541 ($28) it came with a bracket and I made an additional bracket to steady the assembly. I changed out the original fittings for the larger hose fittings
The breather hose was cut and the section with the smaller tube removed the hoses are connected with tubes to the catch can hoses, I have the small hose capped for now the whole thing costs less than $45 to make and fit.
