Default 200 Cell HP Cats for XJR

Hello everybody,
i'm planning to build up some HP Cats for my XJR.
The plan is to use 200 cpi metallcats because i dont want to get problems with the lambda sensors and they should fit nearly p&p ( on the exit i want to get 2 1/4 or 2,5" but at the moment i'm not sure if 2,5" is required)
My first step is to measure out how my space i have, to decide which shape i chose and to design the connecting plates.

If you have some additional ideas for me please feel free
Best regards from Munich
Maxi

I have 200 cell cats on my XJR. Expect it to be a lot louder but not obnoxiously loud. The cats are connected to 2.5in piping to a X-pipe, mid resonator and 2 rear axle mufflers. The two forward mufflers are deleted.

Nameless Performance do 200 cell cats for our cars
https://namelessperformance.com/

They've been covered quite a bit in the XK forum, but a few people have used them on XJ's as well.
Hopefully someone with some actual experience will offer some useful advice about them, as I see they have two versions listed on their website for XK's, but nothing for XJ's

I am running the 200 cell Nameless sport cats with an otherwise stock exhaust. Other posts have said an increase of ~10hp with the cats. They deepen the exhaust note, which sounds very good.

Which ones did you use, and which year is your car?
Or when you mentioned you had an XJ, did they know which ones you'd need?

Sorry, I have a 2000 XJR. I bought the cats from Waterdragon when, I believe, he couldn't pass emisions testing in California. They are ceramic coated, which is nice. I am adding a 2nd exhaust gasket to the bottom connection because of a bit of leakage. If you do a search for "nameless cats" and "Waterdragon", you should be able to get more details on the cats.

Hope that helps.

There are some other sport catalysts available for our cars. Here one XJR installation:

Mine is a 99 XJR - quiksilver 2 1/2" system plus nameless 200 cell cats - I bought the cats a few years ago to suit a XKR, (that was all they supplied them for back then) XJR and XKR cats are identical in all respects, I had them fabricate them with 2 1/2" outlets especially -
I have always thought I could have spent that $1,000 more wisely.
I also had alignment troubles using the solid copper flange gaskets they supply, ended up using OEM gaskets
Cheers

I use single cell cats () with no lamda issues..... Emissions is obviously a different matter but works a treat
