Getting a heated oxygen sensor control module code and a knock sensor code. Is the Heated Oxygen Sensor and Heated Oxygen Sensor Control Module....the same thing? or is there an actual CONTROL MODULE?

is bank one the left side of the engine?

 

For a LHD car, the “A” bank or bank 1 is on the passenger side of the vehicle if you’re sitting in the drivers seat. P1647 is for bank 2 “B” bank upstream 02 sensor. The ECM reads all 4 of the oxygen sensors so there’s no separate module for just the 02 sensors. In my opinion, I’d replace both of the knock sensors as they are old and not too difficult to replace with the intake manifold in place either.

 

I am pretty sure the O2 sensors are what he means.
