go to auto parts store, have them pull codes so you know what you have(theres a reason its on and a reason to fix it) and they can clear it too. then tell us what it is and we tell you what to do

 

and the point is? get the code and clear it then go from there.....I meen last time I went to the bathroom the light worked fine, then I went in a day later and...nothing light doesnt work???? doesnt matter if 5 minutes or 5 months...it might be a code for low battery voltage, 2ndary air pump flow....or????
may be nothing and probobly is but its nice to know what and not guess

 

That the front cylinder, if it returns replace the coil. But you may want to pull that coils and check for oil leaking into the wells from the cam cover leaking. And now you know and can see if, and how soon it returns. If the car sat for 5 months it might have only been alittle gumming of the injector pintle, i add a can of bg fuel system cleaner to the tank, not as good as a flush, but dissolves real light deposits.

 

Depending on the reader, there will be an option to clear the fault codes, thus putting the light out. It's standard on any post 2001 Euro cars and 1996 on USA spec' cars.
