Default ABS

hi I have a 1998 XJ8. can anyone tell me if having the brake pipes renewed would cause the abs ,traction and stability faults to appear. I have replaced the abs sensor. The code wont clear with diagnostics. nopower from sensor to cpu ? unit. might this be a cable fault?

You need to post in the X308 section of the forum.

More help from the people that own/repair these cars.

You will also need a more specialized diagnostic device to read C codes from the ABS module.

Welcome to the forum Travers,

I've moved your question from X-Type to X308 forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

What code do you have? There are quite a few refering to the ABS and all have to interpretated differently...
