Default Door handle seals replacement option…

So looking at the plastic seal or gasket between handle and door panel, they’ve all cracked and split. Water can get into the door here.
Jaguar part has a centralised piece, these don’t so they should be easier to fit and forget about.
Neoprene 2/3mm.

Great! Have you tried them on your car? The seller is away on holiday unto Sept 7th but I'll order some for my cars.

Not yet, I've just got them but I will update once it's out of the paintshop.

I’ve tried those. They are a soft foam that does the job, the fit though is not as the originals and fiddly to fit with a consistent appearance around the periphery. My preferred option would be the originals.,,they are though so expensive!

Then again, maybe no one notices the different fit between the different gaskets on my different doors than me!

I can post pics of the fitted differences when I get a chance

I've just ordered some and they're due for delivery early next week. I'll install at least one and post a photo.

@Sean B , who's doing your paint for you? I'm not far away from you and looking for a recommendation to tidy up my X308.

OEM gasket, lips over periphery of handle.

Replacement gasket, non OEM. Mostly sits behind handle and slides around when fitting.

Thanks for the pics. It is very nice to be able to make an informed decision
on things like this.

….due to the significant price difference I would go with the aftermarket, but if I could get the OEM for a price closer to the aftermarket, then I would go with the OEM.

Although it is nice to see less rubber/black with the aftermarket fitment.
